Jay Foundation Bags Two Prestigious Awards

The Jay Foundation, a Ghanaian NGO that caters for preterm babies in the country has bagged two awards at the just-ended Youth Excellence Awards.

The foundation was nominated in two categories ‘social enterprise of the year’ for the CEO Naa Kuorkor Mayne-Eghan and ‘youth foundation of the year’ which were both won.

Jay foundation has since its inception some two years ago catered for a countless number of preterm babies in their mothers in many government hospitals across the country.

It in the month of November which celebrates World Prematurity Day disinfected selected hospitals in the country as well as donated essential items to preterm babies as well as their mothers.

This award is one of the many to come as the organization continues to have a lasting impact on these premature babies.

Expressing appreciation to Ghanaians, the founder of the NGO said “I will like to inform this wonderful family of the outcome of the Awards the Jay Foundation was nominated for. In the end we came out victorious and won both awards.”
