Support ‘miracle’ preterm babies – Jay Foundation to Ghanaians

The Jay Foundation, a non-governmental organization devoted to ensuring that pre-mature babies survive has entreated Ghanaians to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) in Ghana. The Foundation said preterm babies do not get adequate care due to lack of space, facilities, and essentials needed to evade infection, which causes death. Prayer Camps killing pregnant women – Doctor

The Hospital Director at the Shai-Osudoku District Hospital in Dodowa, Dr Kennedy Brightson, has lamented the increasing number of prayer camps around the hospital, which he says is the main cause of maternal deaths in the area. Visit and Donation to Battor Catholic Hospital

On Easter Monday, 22nd April 2019, the Jay Team support the MP of North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa during a donation exercise and party for the sick children at the Battor Catholic Hospital. The items donated to the Children’s department of the hospital was worth about 200,000 cedis. The Jay Team visited the NICU of the hospital to see how best we could support them in the near future. Visit and Donation to Keta Municipal Hospital

So the Jay Foundation Team visited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Keta Municipal Hospital on Good Friday, 19th April, 2019. Kudos to the Dr. Emmanuel Anim, Auntie Lydia(the Matron) and their team for their relentless efforts towards the care of these miracle babies.
