The Jay Foundation, a Ghanaian NGO that caters for preterm babies in the country has bagged two awards at the just-ended Youth Excellence Awards. Jay Foundation Marks World Prematurity Month; Disinfects Hospitals

The organization engaged in a series of activities from November 14 including cleaning and disinfecting Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), providing breakfast for mothers, donating food items to mothers and babies, and engaging mothers of preterm babies at the Tema General, Korle Bu, Shai Odusoku and Keta hospitals. Jay Foundation marks World Prematurity Day in Ghana

The Jay Foundation, an NGO dedicated to supporting pre-term babies across the country has joined the rest of the world to mark the “World Prematurity Day” November 17. The organization as part of activities to mark the yearly event held a fundraising event initiated by children affiliated to the organisation, by means of selling snacks and drinks at the Marina Mall in Accra.
